iProov.me facilitates a seamless and secure travel experience on Eurostar by allowing for ticketless travel options.

Prior to your journey, iProov.me provides a straightforward and secure remote identity verification process that integrates your passport, facial recognition, and your ticket. This innovative approach allows you to use your face as a digital ticket for Eurostar travel. On the travel day, simply proceed to the designated SmartCheck lane at St. Pancras station for an efficient, ticketless experience. You will only need to present your passport once to the French border police, after which you can enjoy your day and proceed with your trip.

To initiate the process, users must complete a one-time identity verification to create a trusted and reusable digital credential. This involves scanning your passport and capturing a selfie-style video using your mobile device.

The iProov.me application operates on an opt-in, consent-based biometric face authentication system, emphasizing user control over personal data and safeguarding privacy. It employs advanced encryption methods, anonymizes and pseudonymizes data, and collects only the essential personally identifiable information required for individual verification. This data handling ensures that users are granted access at the physical location efficiently. Furthermore, any data shared with the station for access purposes is removed within 48 hours post-usage. iProov.me complies with GDPR regulations and holds ISO 27001 certification for information security management.
